Hawaiian Electric Company and your EV charger
Hawaiian Electric Company does not currently offer an EV charger incentive to its Hawaii customers, according to the Department of Energy's utility directory. The federal charger credit also ended for installs after June 30, 2026, so there is no federal money to fall back on — the cost of a Level 2 install is the cost.

Where the federal credit went
There is no federal EV charger tax credit for equipment placed in service after June 30, 2026. Section 30C was terminated by section 70504 of Public Law 119-21. Any quote or article that nets a federal credit against your cost today is out of date — which is most of them.
