Conditions are quoted from each program’s own published terms as we read them on the date shown. Meeting them is what makes an application eligible; it is not an approval, and a utility can apply requirements it does not publish.

What the federal listing says

The Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center records no incentives currently offered by Dayton Power & Light Co for EV charging infrastructure. We checked that listing on 2026-08-25.

Utilities do add programs, and the listing is not exhaustive. If Dayton Power & Light Co has launched something since, we want to know — but we will not list an amount before reading their own terms.

Where the federal credit went

There is no federal EV charger tax credit for equipment placed in service after June 30, 2026. Section 30C was terminated by section 70504 of Public Law 119-21. Any quote or article that nets a federal credit against your cost today is out of date — which is most of them.
