Three decisions set the price: whether you run a feeder to a small subpanel or a single home-run circuit, which wiring method goes in the ground (burial depth is set by NEC Table 300.5 and is not one number), and what the trench crosses. What every scenario shares: the load calculation and the permit

None of the four scenarios above include a panel that needs work. If yours does, the service-upgrade row applies regardless of which charger or outlet you pick — it is a separate decision, made by a load calculation, not by the hardware choice. Comparing quotes across scenarios, not just within one
